Vibe Shipped for developers and agents

A sourced, dated directory of real apps built with AI coding tools, plus the build tools, coding-agent harnesses and agentic tools behind them. Free, no auth. Agent instructions: /agents.md. Install snippets for each client: /agents.

When an agent should use Vibe Shipped

• The user wants real, sourced examples of apps built with a specific AI coding tool (Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Windsurf, Rork, Base44).
• The user is choosing an AI app builder, coding-agent harness or agent framework and needs current pricing (with checked dates), licence, GitHub stars or docs-verified features (MCP, subagents, headless, sandboxing).
• The user asks how much apps built with AI earn: use the Vibe Shipped 50, and say figures are as stated, with the evidence tier.
• You need to know what changed recently in AI coding tools (whats_new with since=YYYY-MM-DD).
• You need the whole directory for analysis: download the CC BY 4.0 dataset.

Not for:

• General coding help, debugging or documentation for a tool (go to the tool's own docs).
• Market share or audited revenue: our counts are of apps we have sourced, and revenue is as stated by makers.
• Tools unrelated to AI-assisted building.

• whats_new: Dated changelog of the Vibe Shipped directory: apps built with AI, AI build tools, Agent Toolbox entries and agent harnesses that were added or updated, newest first. (read-only)
• search_apps: Find real, shipped apps built with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Windsurf, Rork, Base44). Every app links to a public source showing which tool built it. (read-only)
• get_app: Full record for one listed app by slug. (read-only)
• list_tools: Every AI build tool Vibe Shipped tracks (Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Windsurf, Rork, Base44) with official pricing and app stats. (read-only)
• compare_tools: Side-by-side sourced facts for 2-4 slugs, mixing AI build tools, agent harnesses and Agent Toolbox entries. Answers "X vs Y" questions such as Cursor vs Claude Code. (read-only)
• recommend_stack: Rank AI build tools and coding-agent harnesses for an app idea with deterministic, documented scoring (no LLM). (read-only)
• get_tool: Full sourced facts for one AI build tool, agent harness or Agent Toolbox entry. (read-only)
• top_tools: Rank AI build tools by one metric computed from Vibe Shipped listings. (read-only)
• get_vibe50: The Vibe Shipped 50: apps built with AI coding tools, ranked by stated, sourced monthly USD revenue. (read-only)
• list_agent_tools: The Agent Toolbox: agentic build tools (Cline, Aider, OpenHands, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Devin, Jules, Kiro, Amp, Warp, n8n, Browser Use and more) by category. (read-only)
• list_harnesses: Coding-agent harnesses (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, goose, Cline, Aider...) and agent frameworks (Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, smolagents, Mastra, LangGraph) with docs-verified facts. (read-only)
• get_harness: Full sourced record for one agent harness by slug. (read-only)
• latest_apps: The most recently added apps built with AI, newest first. (read-only)
• submit_app: Send an app built with AI to the Vibe Shipped human review queue. (writes; only on explicit user request)
• subscribe_newsletter: Subscribe the user's own email to a Vibe Shipped newsletter: daily (new apps built with AI) or agent-brief (weekly AI coding tools and harnesses). (writes; only on explicit user request)
• get_sponsorship_info: Vibe Shipped sponsorship offers (featured listing, week sponsor, Weekly Top 10 presenting sponsor, month takeover) with prices and Stripe checkout links. (read-only)

REST API

OpenAPI 3.1 spec, API version 1.1.0. Versioned base path /api/v1 (alias of /api); responses carry an API-Version header.

Errors

Every /api error is JSON with a typed code:

Codes: bad_request (400), invalid_json (400), invalid_parameter (400), invalid_email (400), invalid_list (400), invalid_submission (400), unauthorized (401), not_found (404), method_not_allowed (405), rate_limited (429), internal_error (500), not_configured (503).

Rate limits

Best effort, per IP: 120 requests per 60 seconds on /api/*. Responses include RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining, RateLimit-Reset, RateLimit-Policy and X-RateLimit-*. Over the limit: 429 rate_limited with Retry-After.

Dataset

apps.json and apps.csv: every listed app with source link and evidence tier. CC BY 4.0; attribute “Vibe Shipped (vibeshipped.io)”.
